SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

The position is responsible for quality assurance, supplier approvals and audits in the East. Also
responsible for maintaining and extend information on food stuff and legislation and to perform technical
assignments which arises from time to time.

3. Maintain and extend NIN and NVN’s information on Food Stuff Legislation
4. Other Technical Ad Hoc Assignments

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsibility for Quality Assurance in East. Hereunder:

a. Overall responsibility that the quality standard of NortagIndia (NIN) and Nortag Vietnam
(NVN) co-packing and manufacturing sites is in compliance with national and international
quality standards and legislation and in compliance with the NortagGroup standards.
b. Overall responsibility for Quality Assurance systems at NIN and NVN hereunder ISO 9001,
ISO 22000, Sedex certification and Halal certification.
c. Participation in audits from customers and/or external partners.
d. Liaising with Group Quality Manager, local Business Unit Managers and Quality Assurance
Managers on necessary action before and after audits.
e. Handling and solving of complaints together with local Quality Managers.

2. Supplier Approval and Audits hereunder:

a. Developing, maintaining and administrating the NortagGroup supplier audit programme in

East.
b. Planning, organizing and conducting supplier audits in East to assess supplier quality
management systems and code of conduct compliance.
c. Write and review supplier reports inclusive of follow-up on audits and audit reports.
d. Collaborate with NortagGroup purchasing teams on approved suppliers.

3. Maintain and Extend NIN and NVN’s Information on Food Stuff Legislation.
4. Other Technical Ad Hoc Assignments

QUALIFICATIONS
1. MS/BS/BA degree in food engineering or related food discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience and 2 years in management position from the
food industry.
3. Experience in managing and working with cross cultural team members.
4. Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management.
5. Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team
members in a creative and effective manner.
6. Strong English skills.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Position is based in Thailand.

Expected annual travel days: 50 - 100
