competitive/direct negotiation tender. Elaborate on each type of tender. Then, suggest your
preferred type of tender. Provide TWO (2) reasons for your choice of type of tender.

2. Contracts can be categorized into price-based, cost-based, and a combination of both.

Explain each type of contract category with an example of a type of contract. Then, suggest
your preferred type of contract. Provide THREE (3) reasons for your choice of type of
contract.

3. Contract documentation includes the agreement, drawings, specifications, and contract

conditions. Define each contract documentation and provide an example for each contract
documentation. Then, suggest the most important contract documentation. Provide TWO (2)
reasons for your suggestion.

4. Standard form contracts are agreements that employ standardized, non-negotiated

provisions, usually in pre-printed forms. These are sometimes referred to as 'boilerplate
contracts,' 'contracts of adhesion,' or 'take it or leave it' contracts. Provide THREE (3)
similarities and THREE (3) differences between the standard form contracts from JKR and
PAM. Then, suggest your preferred standard form contract. Provide TWO (2) reasons for
your choice.
