1. The LithoSpace® represents a new concept. A shock wave

source as a component for urology and orthopaedics.

2. The flexibility and manoeuvrability of the applicator allows

treatments of both “under and over” the table positions.

3. The revolutionary “SuperVision” an autonomous, “touchless”

targeting system for all X-Ray and ultrasound localisation
devices superimposes the therapeutic volume on the imported
medical image.

4. The LithoSpace® supports easy positioning either by the

highly flexible applicator or via the patient support.

5. The LithoSpace® enables optimal positioning under

supervision of the total therapeutic volume. Re-positioning
“on the fly” is easy and fast.

6. AST LithoSpace® generates a very effective Wide Focus

shock wave using a new electro caustic emitter (ECE) that
provides large therapeutic volume with fewer side effects.

7. Penetration depth of up to 220mm also makes it easy to

position obese patients.

8. Without expensive mechanical adaptation the LithoSpace®

is compatible with existing imaging modalities.

9. When not in use, LithoSpace® may be folded into the “park

position” and wheeled out of the operating theatre thereby
freeing up space.
