RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE UPDATED BARANGAY DISASTER RISK

REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR 2021-2022 OF BARANGAY LIPAY-
DINGIN-PANIBUATAN, IBA, ZAMBALES.

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10121 otherwise known as the Philippines Disaster Risk Reduction
and Management Act of 2010 laid the basis for a paradigm shift from just disaster preparedness
and response to DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT.

WHEREAS, the Disaster Risk Reduction should not only focus in the identification of the
hazard-prone areas but more on disaster preparedness and response incorporating risk analysis to
development plans, building people’s capacities.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of San Antonio
has formulated the MDRRM Plan for the year 2021-2022.

WHEREAS, MDRRM Plans outlines the activities aimed at strengthening the capacity of the
LGU in terms of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and calling for the
institutionalization of the DRRM in the Barangay;

NOW THEREFORE, ON MOTION OF kgwd. ALDRIN ESPOSO, Chairman Committee on

INFRASTRUCTURE with the accord of all the members presents, be it;
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Barangay in Session assembled to
ADOPT, as it is hereby adopting the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan of
Iba , Zambales for years 2021-2022
RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of this resolution be furnished the Honorable JUN
RUNDSTEDT C. EBDANE, Municipal Mayor, Iba, Zambales and the Municipal Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Council for their information.
