IX CHEMISTRY PRACTICALS
NOTE:
1. Only four experiments in your syllabus.
2. Diagrams and equations should be done in the unruled page.
3. Certification and index part is given in the last slide.
4. Don’t use the first page for writing because you will not have the unruled page for
diagram and equation.

EXPERIMENT : 01
IDENTIFICATION OF GASES
Note:
1. Diagram and reactions should be done in the unruled page.
2. Experiment , observation and inference column should be done in ruled part.
3. Use new page for each gas so that you will get space for diagrams.
4. Don’t use any colour pencils, paint or sketch pens to draw. No need of any pencil
shadings. If you feel hands in the diagram are difficult to draw then don’t do it.
5. It’s compulsory that you should mention whatever its in the diagram.
ex: Colour of the solid, litmus colour change etc.
6. Except for carbon dioxide and nitrogen dioxide gas you should draw diagrams for the
remaining 8 gases.
