THe COMPANY
Masc Global Industries started it’s commercial production to manufacture Silicon
Carbide Crucibles both with Resin and Tar Pitch Bond and other special refractories in
June 2018. The company has acquired the ISO-9001:2015 quality management system
in April 2019. It has a modern management team equipped with the latest technology,
machineries, furnaces and technical team to cater to the needs of foundry industries
with high production volume. Masc Global Industries’ qualified and experienced team
is headed by Mr. A. K. Naik (CEO) who has international exposure with more than 29
years of experience in a similar field. With his guidance, our process control team keeps
a strict vigil on the production process to safeguard all quality parameters. The best
quality raw materials are used from indigenous and imported sources to ensure
product quality. Stage wise 100% inspection is ensured by its inspectors and quality
assurance department to prevent the processing of defective materials in the next stage
of process. Masc Global is having a full-fledged laboratory for testing, analysis, and
development. Our commitment towards quality is reflected in formation of our Quality
Control and R&D team before the commissioning of our plant.

CRUCIBLE CARE
The burner should be positioned in such a way
that the flame is directed between the crucible
and bottom stand
Store Crucibles in a dry, warm place Do not nest inside another Do not roll crucibles
Keep each crucible separately Move using a sack truck with padding
Check thoroughly for cracks or damage before Use correct bottom stand which must be central Allow space for expansion between crucible and
use and support the whole base furnace lining/cover
Use correct positioned grip bricks in tilting The flame path must be tangential to the Ingots should be added to crucible carefully
furnaces, leaving gaps for expansion crucible using tongs
Do not hang crucible on sprout
First charge with light returns, as a cushion, then Only add flux after the metal is completely Avoid premature crucible failure by ensuring that
add the ingots vertically molten the drain hole is sealed
Crucible should be lifted using right handling Solid metal should be removed from the crucible Oxides and impurities should be removed
equipment with pressure on the center of before next use carefully and periodically
