• Costing of the projects as in from the mechanical side for tender purpose.
• Familiar with application of 2D and 3D CAD tools. Solid modeling with Solid Works and

brakes and Couplings.
b) Preparation of design calculation & drawings for client submission. Viz- General Arrangement,
Drive arrangement, Slew Power calculations, Motor & Brake calculations, Wheel load
calculations & Stability.
c) Preparation of Dimensional Drawings, Main Assembly Drawing, Part Drawings and the
complete Bill of Materials for individual drawings for manufacturing purpose.viz- Portal leg,
Portal beam, Slew frame, Jib, Rope drums Assembly, Bottom block assembly etc.
d) Preparation of Fastener list, Dimensional consignment & Dispatch list.

• Design of 25T Hammer head crane for Garden reach shipbuliders & Engineers ltd.(GRSE)
Key responsibilities:
a) Preparation of design calculation & drawings for client submission. Viz- General Arrangement,
Slew Power calculations, Motor & Brake calculations, Wheel load calculations & Stability.
b) Preparation of Dimensional Drawings, Main Assembly Drawing, Part Drawings and the
complete Bill of Materials for individual drawings for manufacturing purpose.viz- Boom
assembly, Portal beam, Portal leg, Vertical mast, Slew drive arrangement, Long travel drive
arrangement, Tie bar assembly etc.
c) Preparation of Gearbox specification sheet & Passenger lift specification and its technical
comparison of supplier’s data sheet.
d) Preparation of Dimensional consignment & Dispatch list.

• Design of Rotating trolley Overhead Transmission Crane (RTC) of capacity 30T for Bhilai Steel
Plant (BSP), Bhilai

a) Preparation of design calculation & drawings for client submission. Viz- General Arrangement,
Motor & Brake calculations, Girder & End carriage calculation, calculation for connection
between girder & end carriage, Girder splicing calculation, Slew power calculation General
arrangement of DSL , General arrangement of long travel rail.
b) Preparation of manufacturing drawings. Viz- Details of girder & Endcarriage, Details of
traversing trolley, details of Rotating trolley , Drive arrangement, Bottom block assembly etc.
c) Preparation of Gearbox specification sheet, Tongs specification, Cable reeling drum
specification, magnet specification & electric hoist specification and its technical comparison
of supplier’s data sheet.
