Canadian Communities Are Taking Action

• Raymond, Alberta installs solar arrays to create net-zero electricity system.

• Solar panels that offset 100% of the Town’s operational electricity use saving 700 Ton of CO2 per year
• West 5 net-zero energy community in London, Ont.
• Anticipating GHG reductions (tCO2e) of 3,942 annually by 2030
• HalifACT 2050: Acting on Climate Together is Halifax Regional Municipality’s long-term
action plan to reduce emissions and help communities adapt to a changing climate.
• A low carbon pathway was constructed with actions that align with the 1.5°C pathway.
