PROPAGANDA TECHNIQUES IN COMMERCIAL

Video-Making Contest

Content Mechanics:
 Open to all grade 8 students of V. Bagasina Sr. Memorial High
School, SY, 2021-2022.
 Create a short commercial that will cater at least one of the different
types of Propaganda Techniques. (see LAS 2: Quarter 3)
 The video must be at least 30 seconds to one minute length. This is
an individual output.
 You may advertise or endorse ANY PRODUCT that you use at
home such as food and drinks product, electronic accessories and
gadgets, beauty and personal care, outfits, books, etc., as long as it
promotes healthy living and lifestyle.
 The language that must be used in the entirety of the video is
English. The video must not contain material that is obscene,
defamatory, and offensive or encourages conduct that would be
considered inappropriate.
 A cash prize of P300.00 will be given to the top winner, while
P200.00 for the 2nd prize winner and 3rd prize winner will get
P100.00. There will be three (3) chosen videos to received P50.00
as consolation prize.
 All students who will participate in the contest will receive an
additional points in their performance task in English. The top winner
will also be exempted in taking the summative test for the 3rd
Quarter.
 The deadline of submission will be on April 4, 2021. You may
submit/upload/send your video entry on you English teacher’s
messenger account, Grace Reoteras Pensocas, on or before the
said deadline. Late entry will not be accepted.
 Entries will be judged by respective English Teachers of the school
using the rubrics:
