2. In this regard, it is intimated that S-1(A) Section deals with the Indian

a. No vacancies under Direct Recruitment
Quota of ADP (Level 10: JTS) has been

filled since 05.11.1990 i.e. since the date

of constitution of lB(P)S. Direct
Recrui~ment is the only mode of induction
of OBC candidates in the government
service. As of today, there is no officer
hailing from OBC category.
b. As regards, the temporary shortfall in
representation of SC and ST category, it is
informed that vacancies under the
promotion quota in the JTS grade has
been filled till 2019. The vacancies
pertaining to the year 2020 and 2021 are
expected to be around 100. The filing of
these vacancies in due course will do the
necessary adjustment of the
representation of the SC and ST category.
