OUTREACH TO ALABAMA - NOMADS LAND


One of our greatest joys is being able to come alongside our friends in their ministry and be a part of them bringing the lost to Christ. in, and also to give a place where like-minded people ministering to the same crowd can stay for a while. On the land there is a stable barn that we started to renovate. We took apart one side of the barn and built a common area, bathroom, kitchen, laundry and pantry area. THE WORK TEAM


We spent 2 weeks working at Nomads land. During that time there were 2 other ministries working alongside of us. It was a great opportunity to spend time with others and share the Love of Christ with them.

More exciting news for the Carpentry Apprenticship: Our local Habitat for Humanity has been in contact with David. They are interested in having the apprentices make the cabinets that will used in the homes that our being built by Habitat in our community. Not only will it be great experience for the guys to

learn how to create and build cabinets, but its also a great way for them to get involved and contribute to our local community. David has also been involved with doing some carpentry work at our local Salvation Army.

May 31-June 4: David and the other facility guys are heading to Salem, Oregon to build a kitchen for staff housing at the YWAM base. June 19-25 - Youth group from Pennyslvaina are coming to work for a week. June 25-July 2 - Teams from Stanwood, WA and Michigan July 4-8 - Friends from YWAM Cambodia are coming for a visit August 12-19- Work team from Maryland August 22-24 YWAM Montana Staff retreat Sept.2-5 - To Colorado Springs for a friends wedding. Late Sept. - Mission Builders International semi-annual Board of Directors meeting

FAMILY NEWS
The kids are all very much ready for summer to be here. Barrett is completing 4th grade, and Luke 1st grade. Summer is a busy birthday time for our family. Allie turned 2 this week, Flint will be 4 in June, and Peter turns 6 in August. And David will be another year older in August. We are hoping to get a few camping trips squeezed in between the work teams coming. David and the boys were very convincing this spring and we now have 6 new pet chickens!
