SUBJECT : ELECTION DAY – SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY

Proclamation No. 1357, declaring May 9, 2022 (Monday) – National and Local
Elections as special non-working holiday throughout the country to enable the
people to properly exercise their right to vote.

There will be no work on this day except for employees who may be required to
report for work due to the nature of their jobs.

Special Non-working Holiday – If unworked, no work, no pay policy shall apply. If worked, first eight (8) hours
shall have an additional 30% of the daily rate of 100%. In excess of eight (8) hours, additional of 30% of hourly
rate on the said day. If falling on the employee’s rest day and if worked, first eight (8) hours shall have an
additional50% of the daily rate of 100%. In excess of eight (8) hours, an additional of 30% hourly rate on the said
day.
