Report specifications

Use online library databases to identify articles in trade publications that provide case
studies of AI in ERP in the healthcare industry.

[The following questions is a guide as to what should be discussed in the report]

Question 1:

How widespread is the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in ERP across the healthcare
industry? Why?

- Show evidence either in reports or numbers on how the industries used ERP (with
AI)?
- Why is it so commonly used now?
- Justify reasons with evidence.

Question 2:

Give examples. Explain both the positive and negative impacts of AI technology (Big Data)
on ERP.

Question 3:

Identify the benefits reported from implementing AI in ERP.

Question 4:

- Research on a company from the healthcare industry that has successfully

implemented AI in ERP.

- Conduct a benchmarking of performance on the major ERP vendors of performance

by brand, market share, functions, etc. (compare with at least another 2 more ERP
Vendors.)

Question 5:

Find a success story of AI in ERP implementation (Pick a company in the healthcare industry
and make sure to include the case study as Appendix). Share the factors that contributed to
the success of this implementation.
