III. CONTENT/CORE CONTENT Effective use of multimedia resources can help make the ideas clearer and the presentation more interesting.

a. General Instructions: (Note: Just remind the students regarding on the netiquette.)
 Be on time.
 Mute your microphone when you are not speaking.
 Show respect to the speaker by listening attentively and communicating politely.
 If you have questions or concerns to raise, use the chat box section or ask permission
to the speaker before you talk.
 Turn on your camera when being asked.
 Stay focused and avoid multi-tasking.

b. Remind the students on their reading activities during asynchronous time


c. Short review of the previous topic.
 Ask the following questions:
1. What is multimedia? Give examples.
2. Based on our discussion yesterday, enumerate the four things to consider in
creating your presentation.
3. What are the two parts of multimedia elements?
4. What is the importance of using multimedia resources?
d. Vocab Development:
-Let the students unlock word meanings, familiarize word pronunciation and spelling
through gamification.)
- Recall word meanings, pronunciation, spelling and translation orally.
(Note: Please prepare slides of words used in gamification with definition and
pronunciation and translation;
: Emphasize or remind also the students about the importance of participation in
gaining points.)

IV. LEARNING Suggested Learning Activities

C. 1 hour and Learning Task 4: (This part can be done in asynchronous time.)
Engagement 30 mins In planning multimedia presentation, you can use a Storyboard to keep everything organized. It is
a good idea to make a storyboard for each slide to plan the content and layout of your
presentation. You can sketch, write, or paste into each slide. Include text, images, sounds or music
title, and other resources that you plan to use in your presentation. Below is an example of
storyboard on COVID-19 presentation:
(Note: For clear copy refer to PDF copy of this lesson, but you can improve this by adding color.)
1. For your final task, choose one (1) from the topics below:
 Energy Conservation
Time and again, you hear tips for energy conservation. At home, what do you do to help cut down
your electric bills? List your suggestions.
(Note: Let the students list their suggestions on padlet to see real time answers.)
 Water Conservation
Look around you and observe how water is wasted (at home and the neighborhood). List them
and state some do’s and don’ts to save water.
2. Next, create a multimedia presentation storyboard for a minimum of 6 slides and a maximum of
10 slides about your chosen topic. (Option 1) Do this in a long bond paper or any available paper.
Remember that you can sketch, write, or paste into each slide). (Option 2: Using PowerPoint
Presentation ) Include text, images, sounds or music title, and other multimedia resources that
you plan to use in your presentation.

D. 15 minutes You can enhance your oral presentations using audio, pictures, diagrams, drawings, animation,
Assimilation and/or video.
Note: Before showing the picture below ,you can make the same organizer but make the boxes
blank except for the upper part(Multimedia Elements) and let the students fill in the needed
information.
