[COURSE INFORMATION]
1) To read and write Hangul

2)To pronounce vowels, consonants clearly and understand Korean

pronunciation system through fundamental change of sounds

3) To understand the fundamental rules of sentence structure and syntax in

COURSE DESCRIPTION Korean

& GOALS 4) To have basic conversations in Korean including greetings, self-

introduction, ordering food, daily activities, etc.

1) Speaking 25% (Interview and Role playing)

2) Writing 25% (Exam)

GRADING POLICY 3) Listening 25% (Exam)

4) Reading 25% (Recite 10%, Exam 90%)

5) F grade will be issued if total attendance of the class is less than 80%
