Panama, a paradise nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Visit the famous canal combining

both oceans, and the modern and historical contrasts of Panama City. Delve into the Maya culture in the best place

to explore the Maya ruins in lush jungles: Guatemala. Enjoy the birds and exotic flowers surrounding the

volcanic Atitlan Lake, take a boat ride to the little towns at the lakeside, meet the locals and buy some colored

The UNESCO colonial town of Antigua is a jewel to be explored, stay at a hotel that used to be an ancient monastery, climb up the highest ancient Maya royal observatory in the historical

town of Tikal and explore the carved stones at Copan historical ruins.

We also take you to the superb beaches of Roatan, Honduras. Enjoy the various tones of blue in the sea, lie under the palm trees and just relax. Life is wonderful!

Day 2 Panama City

Panama City & Miraflores Locks

Panama City Tour & the Panama Canal starts out with a fascinating visit to the Miraflores Locks Visitor Center. You will then continue to the Biodi ersity Museum Continue for

lunch to the Casco Viejo historical part of town. End the tour with a historical walking tour through the historic center which is home to beautiful restored colonial houses and interesting

architecture, beautiful cathedrals and plazas. One of the most interesting sites on this tour are the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal where you will witness the raising or lowering of a

Day 3 Panama / Guatemala Antigua

Transfer to the airport. Flight to Guatemala. Arrive into Guatemala City where you will be met by a guide and transferred (approx.1 hour) directly to your hotel in Antigua. Accommodation

at the hotel.

Free time to spend enjoying this magical colonial town, considered by some to be the most beautiful in the world. Walk its romantic cobble stone streets and enjoy fine cuisine at one of the

many excellent gourmet restaurants in the area.

The old capital of Guatemala-Antigua (Antigua Guatemala), is located in the wide mountain valley of Panchoy, between Agua, Acatenango and Fuego volcanoes.

Founded in 1524, the city became one of the largest cities of the Spanish Empire,and was as the administrative center of Central America. The city reached its prosperity in the middle of

the XVIII century. In 1773, Antigua was destroyed by the great Santa Marta earthquake, during which almost all buildings, monasteries and architectural structures were destroyed, many

of which are now restored and are museums. In 1979, Antigua was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and now Antigua is the main tourist center of the country.

Day 4: Antigua

After breakfast we will enjoy a sightseeing tour in Antigua Guatemala visiting the ruins, museums,

monasteries, markets, art galleries and squares of this colonial city. The main attractions of the city

are the Central square of the Park Central, the Cathedral de San Jose; the Palace of the Captains-

General (1558); Ayuntamiento - Municipality, built in 1740; the ruins of La Capuchinas, the largest

and most impressive of the convents of the city; the Santa Catalina arch preserved from the

monastery; La Merced Church with a wonderful carved facade.

Must –see places are: the impressive Church of San Francisco, one of the oldest churches in Antigua;

the magnificently restored colonial Casa Popeno mansion, the Museo de Santiago in the old city

prison building, containing an extensive collection of colonial period objects, the Museo del Libro

Antigua, the Museum of Colonial Art in the old University building (collection of religious art), the

green Union Park with an open textile market, as well as two churches around its edges-the western church of San Pedro and the eastern Santa Clara, a former convent.

Day 5: Lake Atitlan

This morning you will take a sightseeing boat tour to the "place where the rainbow takes its colors". So you are heading to Lake Atitlan (30min approx.). Lake Atitlan surrounded by

mountains and 3 volcanos: San Pedro, Atitlan, Toliman, is located in the central part of Guatemala. Its area exceeds over 130 square kilometers, and it is 340 m deep, it is the deepest lake in

Central America.

Since 1955 the surrounding area of Lake Atitlan has been a national park.

This mountainous region is known for its indigenous traditions and folklore of Mayan people.

You will also go to the village of San Juan La Laguna, where you visit a women's textile cooperative and see the hand weaving and natural dyeing process.

Panajchel / Guatemala City Tour

Transfer to Guatemala City.

Breakfast, our driver will pick up you at your hotel at 11:00 a.m. and will take you to Guatemala City. You have a free day to visit attractions or museums to get a picture of today’s life in

the largest city of Central America.

Tikal Tour

This day our driver will pick you up at very early at 4:00 am and take you to international airport for your flight at 06:20 am, upon arrival in Flores Petén our guide and driver will waiting

for you then will take you to explore Tikal, one of the largest and most magnificent Mayan archeological cities in existence, which in its heyday (c. 700 AD,) was the capital of a vast

Mayan empire. Your guide will share many insights on this Mayan city and provide a feel for the mysteries of this ancient culture, in the late afternoon at 15:30 will be transferred to Flores

your flight back to Guatemala at 18:30, upon arrival in Guatemala City our driver will be waiting for you and immediately be transferred your hotel in Guatemala City.

The capital of El Peten Flores was built on a small island on the lake Lago de Peten Itza, and is connected with a half-kilometer bridge with the town of Santa Elena on the shore. In Mayan

times, on the site of Flores was the capital of the imperial province of Tayasal, which was later completely destroyed. During the colonial period, no one knew about the city, until Tikal

was discovered.

Today, you will enjoy a guided tour along the trails and main squares of the most important Mayan city in the world. Here you will notice how perfectly nature and archeology are

combined. You will be able to see the rich wildlife, the Mayan forest, the thousand-year-old temples that are mute witnesses of the birth and splendor, as well as the collapse of one of the

most ancient civilizations on the planet.

Day 9 Guatemala City / Copan Honduras

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at 08:30 am at your hotel and take you to the border of Honduras, upon arrival time for immigration procedures, then we continue to the lovely

colonial town of Copán. Spend the afternoon and evening relaxing in your hotel or take a walk on the streets of this charming town; visit its many shops and lovely restaurants and side walk

Day 10

Copan Honduras Tour

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at 09am and take you to the Ruins Copan. we will start your tour to the Main Archaeological Site, which includes the acropolis, the ball court, the hieroglyphic

stairway and the great plaza of the stelae, as well as the Museum of Mayan Sculpture, acclaimed by experts as unique in the Mayan World. A masterpiece within the museum is the exact size replica of the

famed Rosalila Temple, discovered in 1989. Spend the afternoon and evening relaxing in your deluxe hotel or walk the charming town of Copan, visit its many shops and lovely restaurants and side walk cafes.
