To Our Community Fighting for Freedom -

We are parents and public school teachers in San Joaquin County that have sued Governor

Newsom to end his unlawful retention of emergency powers over Californians, re-establish

parental authority over children’s education / healthcare and protect teachers who are

speaking up against the harmful policies of the public school districts and the State of

California Department of Health.

As the COVID pandemic wanes, we are all looking forward to returning to some normalcy.

But for those who have lost their jobs because of the irrational mandates the disruption to

their lives is just beginning.

Many are public school teachers who protested the ineffective and often harmful vaccine,

masking and testing mandates have been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending

disciplinary hearings to terminate their employment. These disciplinary hearings continue

despite the fact that the mandates are being removed.

There has been a vindictive prosecution by public school administrators of those who were

outspoken about their opposition to the mandates. Many teachers and paraprofessionals

sounded the alarm well before the researchers and parents noticed that the mandates

were causing more harm than good to the students. Not surprisingly, public school

bureaucrats have been more concerned that staff “tow the line” than the long-term

wellbeing of students and education effectiveness.

California already has a teacher shortage, and the spiteful actions of school administrators

will only worsen this crisis.
