Round 1: Idea Submission and Selection
• Submission of ideas at: https://bit.ly/cec_hackathon_register .
• Deadline for 1st round submission – 20th May.
• The shortlisted teams will be intimated to register via Aakriti website by 24th May.
• Teams consist of a minimum of 2 or a maximum of 4 members.
• Template PPT can be downloaded from: https://bit.ly/cec_hackathon_template .

Round 2: Prototype Building


• Selected teams need to build all the developed working prototypes as per the suggestions
from the jury based on initial ideas. Continuous evaluation into interim phases.
Please Note : Subsidy on IEEE and Female participant’s on registration fee.

Round 3: Presentation
• The Teams will be presenting their ideas along with their working prototype built in Round 2.
RULES AND REGULATIONS TO BE FOLLOWED

• During the 24 hours no resources other than space and electricity etc.
shall be provided to participants.
• All members must be physically present at the venue during sign-in,
prototype building and presentation.
• A product developed partially prior to the event or getting help from people
outside the venue by any means virtual or otherwise shall lead to
disqualification.
• Open-source libraries can be used, provided the library has a GNU General
Public License.
• Any program, routine, code snippet, database or libraries etc. not
developedfrom scratch by the participants, need to be acknowledged or
cited by the participants
• Hardware, software and other open-source libraries used in the project must be
submitted during sign-in.
• The decision of the jury will be final and binding.
• In case of licensed products -participants are required to bring their own
hardware and software to develop the prototype and they need to be verified by
the organizers.
• Participants should implement only those ideas submitted during the first phase
by them or those improvements suggested by the internal jury. If found
implementing other ideas, they will be disqualified.
• Food and accommodation (hostel) for participants shall be provided within the
event venue.
• CC Cameras are fitted all around the campus and participants loitering or
misbehaving if brought to the notice of organizers shall face punitive actions in
addition to disqualification of the entire team. Additionally, possession and use of
intoxicants, cigarettes etc. at the event venue (or inside the campus) is banned
and shall face punitive actions.
• After 10 PM participants will not be allowed to go out of the venue
unaccompanied by event organizers/volunteers. Organizers' decisions will be
considered final for any conflicts which may arise before or during the event.
