Big news: Next Year, New Leader

WHAT?! Yup, you heard right…
After 26 years of working with high school youth groups,
Debbi Gischia is quieting down (yeah, right?) and
hanging up her youth minister hat!

“It has been a wild and crazy and amazing ride being a high school youth
minister and I have LOVED literally every minute of it! But it is time
for me to focus on my liturgical ministry and my ministry in Haiti. I will
always be around to help in any way I can. The kids will ALWAYS have a
special place in my heart! You all are gaining a fabulous NEW leader. I
am so excited for Dave to lead our youth into this next year with the
amazing Catholic faith we have!” Debbi Gischia, outgoing leader

“I am excited for this opportunity to join our

young people on their faith journey. My wife and I
have adopted three young children, so at home I
am surrounded by toddlers and a baby. At work,
however, I work with college athletes on a daily
basis. Over the years I have seen first-hand what
a challenge it can be for teens and young adults to
live their faith in a culture that often attacks it. I
can’t wait to join them on their journey.” Dave
