Magnetizing Prayer

ༀ་ཿྃ་ ིཿ
om ah hung hrih
oṃ āḥ hūṃ hrīḥ

འར་ད་་ས་འོད་གསལ་ས་་དིངས། །
gyurmé yeshe ösal chökü ying
In the luminous dharmakāya space of unchanging primordial wisdom,

ཟག་ད་རང་ང་འོད་་འགས་པ་ང་། །
zakmé rangjung ö nga trukpé shying
A realm where immaculate, self-arisen lights of five colours flicker,

བ་ན་པ་འིལ་བ་ཕོ་ང་ནས། །
dechen pema khyilwé podrang né
Is the palace of the swirling lotuses of great bliss;

ཚད་ད་གས་ེ་བེ་བས་ེས་ཆགས་པ། །
tsemé tukjé tsewé jé chakpé
From which, moved by the intense love of boundless compassion,

བསམ་ཡས་་འལ་་བ་རོལ་གར་ལས། །
samyé gyutrul drawé rol gar lé
Arise unimaginable, dance-like displays of illusory manifestation:

སོར་ོགས་་ས་ག་བིད་འོད་མཐའ་ཡས། །
sortok yeshe ziji ö tayé
Amitābha, ‘Boundless Light’, the brilliance of discerning wisdom,

འག་ེན་དབང་ག་པ་གར་ི་དབང་། །
jikten wangchuk pema gar gyi wang
Padma Naṭeśvara, ‘Lotus Lord of the Dance’, master of all the world,

འར་འདས་ི་དཔལ་དབང་ན་་གདོང་བཞད། །
khordé chipal wangchen ta dong shyé
Mighty Hayagrīva, universal splendour of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa,

ཁམས་གམ་དབང་ད་པ་ལ་པོ་མག ། 1
ཁམས་གམ་དབང་ད་པ་ལ་པོ་མག །
kham sum wangdü pema gyalpo chok
Sublime Pema Gyalpo, ‘Lotus King’, who controls the three realms,

བ་ན་གསང་བ་་ས་་ི་མ། །
dechen sangwa yeshe dakki ma
Guhyajñāna, ‘Secret Wisdom’, ḍākinī of great bliss,

ིད་་དས་ན་དབང་མཛད་ག་ེད་དབང་། །
sishyi ngö kün wang dzé rikjé wang
Kurukullā, magnetizer of everything in existence and quiescence,

ང་ིད་ལ་གནོན་བ་མག་འདོད་པ་ལ། །
nangsi zilnön demchok döpé gyal
Saṃvara, king of desire who subjugates appearance and existence,

མན་དམར་ཆགས་པ་ོ་ེ་ེགས་ཚོགས་འལ། །
gön mar chakpé dorjé drek tsok dul
Red Mahākāla, passionate vajra, subduer of the arrogant hordes,

ིད་གམ་དབང་མཛད་་ན་ཚོགས་ི་བདག །
si sum wang dzé lhachen tsok kyi dak
Great deity Gaṇapati, magnetizer of the triple world,

ཁམས་གམ་ད་འག་ོ་བོ་འདོད་པ་ལ། །
kham sum yiguk trowo döpé gyal
Wrathful Ṭakkirāja, captivator of the three realms,

འག་ེན་ས་པོ་དབང་ག་་ན་པོ། །
jikten mepo wangchuk lha chenpo
Lord Mahādeva, progenitor of all the world,

བ་ན་དེས་ད་གར་རོལ་འདོད་དབང་མ། །
dechen gyé gü gar rol döwang ma
Mistress of desire, playful emanation of every form of bliss and delight,

ིད་་གས་ཚོགས་དབང་ད་་སར་ལ། །
sishyi lektsok wangdü gesar gyal
King Gesar, attractor of all that is good in existence and quiescence—

དབང་་ལས་ལ་མངའ་བེས་་གམ་། །
wang gi lé la nga nyé tsa sum lha
Three Root deities who have mastered the activity of magnetizing,

གསང་བ་དེས་བ་གར་རོལ་དཔའ་བོ་ེ། ། 2
གསང་བ་དེས་བ་གར་རོལ་དཔའ་བོ་ེ། །
sangwa gyé dé gar rol pawö dé
Heroic warriors who enjoy the secret play of bliss and delight,

ད་ཅན་བན་པ་འོག་མཛད་ཌི་ཚོགས། །
yichen tenpa trok dzé daki tsok
Hosts of ḍākinīs who captivate the minds of all,

བ་ོང་་མ་གར་ིས་ེས་ཆགས་གགས། །
detong gyumé gar gyi jé chak zuk
In your seductive guise of illusory bliss and emptiness,

མས་བིད་་་གར་ིས་ནམ་མཁའ་གང་། །
dzé ji ku yi gar gyi namkha gang
Let your beautiful, impressive dance of form fill the whole of space,

འགག་ད་གང་་ན་འར་ོང་ཁམས་བ། །
gakmé sung gi nyen gyur tong kham khyab
Let the ceaseless melody of your speech pervade a thousand realms,

བ་ོང་ག་པ་ལ་ང་འར་འདས་གཡོ། །
detong rigpé tsalnang khordé yo
And the expressions of your bliss-empty awareness move saṃsāra and nirvāṇa.

་མཚར་དབང་་ིན་ལས་་ཚོགས་ལ། །
ngotsar wang gi trinlé lhatsok la
Wondrous deities of magnetizing activity,

གང་བས་གསོལ་འབས་བེ་བས་ེས་དངས་། །
dungwé soldeb tsewé jé gong té
Fervently I pray to you: consider me with your love.

ག་ོལ་དག་མཉམ་་ས་ིན་ན་ིས། །
shyi drol dak nyam yeshe jin chen gyi
Through the great blessing of basic freedom, pure and equal,

ོ་གམ་ོ་ེ་གམ་་ན་ོགས་ནས། །
go sum dorjé sum du lhün dzok né
May my three doors be spontaneously perfected as the three vajras,

འར་འདས་ས་ན་བ་ན་ག་ར་བམ། །
khordé chö kün dechen tikler dum
And the whole of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa enter the sphere of great bliss.

ང་ིད་དབང་ད་མག་ན་དས་བ་ོལ། ། 3
ང་ིད་དབང་ད་མག་ན་དས་བ་ོལ། །
nangsi wangdü choktün ngödrub tsol
Grant me supreme and ordinary siddhis for magnetizing appearance and existence, I pray.

ས་ང་བ་དབང་ད་ི་གསོལ་འབས་འ་བན་ི་བར་ོས་ས་བེན་མཁས་ཡོན་ཏན་་མཚོ་བདག་ད་མཁན་
ཀར་དགའ་མག་ནས་ོན་པ་་བན་ས་གས་ི་གནང་ེས་བཅས་ཡང་ཡང་གང་བལ་མ་ོག་ཙམ་་བ་
གས་་མག་ང་ས་གང་ན་ིས་་ལ་བ་དོན་དང་ན་པར་ར་ག། །།
When the sublime Khenpo Karga, who personifies the oceanic qualities of steadfast discipline and erudition,
repeatedly said that I should compose a magnetizing prayer such as this and offered an excellent image of the
Teacher as a gift, I, the one named Druprik Khyuchok, wrote and offered whatever came to mind, simply to avoid
turning down his request. May it prove meaningful!
