STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Introduction and Family details:

I Sahil Bahuguna from uttrakhand dehradun, India and it’s my honour to
introduce myself before you. I am writing this statement of purpose, to help
you decide on my admission at university of Greenwich for masters in
international business. I was born on 16th June 2001 in Dehradun. I hold an
Indian passport and my passport number is U7675361.
I live in a joyful family in Kolkata with my parents. My father name is Uma
Shankar Bahuguna and my mother name is Nandani Bahuguna. My father is an
employee in a private sector company and my mother is a homemaker.
Academics:
I completed my high school from tapovan international school which falls
under CBSE board in 2018-19 with 70% marks and scored 75% in English. I did
my graduation from amity university Kolkata in BBA marketing and completed
in 2022 with average marks of 75%.
Why Masters in International Business?
Business is considered a pillar of development in every part of the world.
Business management and its procedures have always made me curious, which
motivated me to purse my undergraduate degree in this field. During my
academic year I found myself rooted in exploring the process related to
business. I have successfully completed internships in business management
field especially in marketing and also participated in public speaking and
presentation which has improved my communication skills and made me
capable to think on my feet. MSc in international business has a blend of
aspects in the business management sector which will polish me more and will
make me more perfect in the sector. The modules in international business
course are so interesting and that fascinates me to choose this course. I believe
a course like this will empower me with the knowledge which I will be needing
for my career.
Why study in the United Kingdom?
The quality of education in the United Kingdom is the main reason I chose it as
my study location. It is the birthplace of the educational system and a turning
machine. Learning from inventors is always a wonderful honour. United
Kingdom allows us to save money and time and also provides equivalent and
better educational opportunities. The main this degree from this country is
recognizable and well-received throughout the globe. The UK degree is
preferred by every company in the world. In terms of culture, it has a lively and
multi-cultural community of students and academics. It also gives overseas
pupils a sense of understanding and security. In terms of living expenses, it has
a decent cost of living and because I will be staying in shared housing my living
cost will be reasonable. For all these reasons, the United Kingdom has been
picked as my next academic location.
Why University of Greenwich?
The modules of the course offered by this university are so interesting and
fascinating which makes me eager to jump into this university. The university
has many international students which will give me a wide exposure to
different culture and will give opportunity to meet new people and work with
them. The University of Greenwich is well known for its high teaching quality,
research and excellence. The historic campus is so beautiful and located in a
pause and beautiful area in London. It is ranked in times higher education with
overall 4.3 stars. The 12 month course of international business will be great
beneficial to get depth knowledge and international exposure. I am really
eager to learn and study in University of Greenwich after knowing their
reputation and the quality of study which they offer to their students. I am
sure this will act as a stepping stone for me to further my career.
Future career goals:
After completing my masters in international business, I will have enough
exposure to start my career as a full stack developer. It will open doors for me
to have a career in multinational corporations and many big multi-national
companies where I can work into marketing management, management
consultant, brand management, supply chain management and get excellent
salary packages opportunities to advance and even travel the world. I hope the
university authorities will evaluate my application for admission in this esteem
university.
