You’ll learn more about logistics, supply
chain management, managing material
flow, the role of information systems in
supply chain relationships, the customer

Quality Management
and Reliability
This module provides you with an
in-depth understanding of the principles
of quality assurance which underpin
engineering management, and their
applications across the industry.
Research Methods for
Engineering Projects
The purpose of this vital module is to
strengthen your research skills and abilities
with regard to developing projects. You
will critically explore engineering systems,
applications, and processes using a variety of
different approaches including the collection
and analysis of data, working towards your
report on engineering design proposals.
Financial
Management
The module content will include the nature
and strategic role of financial management
including sources of finance, the flow of
money, financial statements, investment,
analysis and business planning.
Systems Modelling
and Simulation
After looking at the principles of systems
engineering and modelling, you will
learn more about flexible manufacturing,
machine setup and operation sequence,
material handling systems, general
modelling approaches, and more.
Advanced Measurement
Systems and Data Analysis
This module aims to help you to gain knowledge
of basic measurement theory, operating
principles of modern measurement techniques,
the capabilities of practical measuring
machines, and advanced data analysis.
Research Project
- Dissertation
During the Research Project you will develop your
problem solving, communication and project
management skills. You will work independently
in consultation with your academic supervisor
and produce an in-depth investigation of
