DOCUMENT DATA SHEET FOR DIESEL ENGINE DRIVEN FIRE WATER PUMP
MANUFACTURER: SERVICE: FIRE WATER QTY: 1
NOTES:
1 The VENDOR shall complete this data sheet, and provide all information as built.
2 Minimum instrumentation required for safe operation of the pump package shall be furnished by the VENDOR.
5 Pump minimum flow requirement to be advised by VENDOR.
7 The engine rating shall be suitable for end of curve operation of the pump excluding Site ISO Power Derating.
8 No equipment, junction box or their supporting structure shall overhang the base plate.
9 The VENDOR shall furnish a pump with NPSHR less than NPSHA by at least 1m at rated flow and min.0.5mtr at 150% rated flow.
11 The pump material selection shall be as per the requirement of latest Edition of NFPA 20 .
12 Pumps shall comply with the requirement of NFPA 20 and shall be UL/FM certified.
13 Each pump shall be provided with control panel which will be located in field close to the pump. Also the engine controls shall be included
in the same panel.
14 Diesel day tank and interconnecting piping between the diesel day tank and engine shal be in the VENDOR,s scope of supply.
15 The VENDOR shall clearly mention power supply requirement for control panel / batteries.
16 The VENDOR to supply circulation valve and set below the shutoff pressure at minimum expected shut off pressure. The valve shall
provide flow of sufficient water to prevent the pump from overheating when operating with no discharge.Pump casing shall be supplied
with integral Air Release valve; Suction (compound type) & Disch. Pressure Gauges (Glycerine filled type) with isolation cocks
per NFPA 20 std.
17 Engine Power shall be selected per latest NFP-20 Std. Vendor shall submit with his offer a detailed power calculations for the
