RESIGN

FOR: EMPLOYEES

TOPICS COVERED OVERVIEW


• Submit Resignation This process is for employees submitting their resignation and separating from Booz Allen
• Review Documents Hamilton.
• Complete the Exit Interview

SUBMIT RESIGNATION
NEED TO KNOW:
• Although your Career Manager will receive a notification once you have submitted your resignation, please ensure you also speak directly with both your Career
Manager and your Job Leader about your resignation plan to ensure a smooth transition
• Please contact Fidelity’s customer service with specific questions about accessing your stocks after resignation or separation

WORKDAY STEPS
1. Navigate to your Profile 6. Enter a reason in the Primary Reason for Resigning field
2. Click Actions on the blue bar on the left below your name 7. Enter a reason in the Secondary Reason for Resigning field (optional)
3. Click Job Change 8. Upload/attach a copy of any necessary resignation documentation (optional)
4. Click Resign 9. Click Submit
5. Enter the date in the Proposed Termination Date field 10. Click Done

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:


• Your management chain (Career Manager, Sr. Associate, and Principal) and your GPL, Talent Advisor and HR Talent Consultant will receive a Workday notification
• Your HR Talent Consultant will contact you to discuss next steps and administrative activities that need to occur outside of Workday
• Your resignation is routed to the appropriate HR Assistant or Executive Services team to review the resignation request
• A second notification is sent to your Career manager once the HR Assistant finalizes the resignation details

REVIEW DOCUMENTS
NEED TO KNOW:
• All employees receive Review Documents tasks in their Workday Inbox after HR processes the resignation. There are four (4) separation documents that are part of
the resignation process
− Acknowledgment Statement
− Personal Mobile Device Management (MDM) Control Removal
− Employment Verification
− Separation Checklist
NOTE: Once the employee clicks Submit on their out-processing documents, they cannot retrieve them in Workday. The employee will need to contact Helpdesk to get
a copy of them.

WORKDAY STEPS
1. Click the Review Documents task in your Workday Inbox
2. Review, print or save the documents
3. Click Submit

COMPLETE THE EXIT INTERVIEW


NEED TO KNOW:
• All Administrative Professional through Lead Associate level employees will receive an action to Complete Questionnaire (exit interview)

WORKDAY STEPS
1. Click the Complete Questionnaire task in your Workday Inbox
2. Complete the exit interview questions
3. Click Submit
