Prepositions of place

1. ON, IN, AT

We use ON to locate something on a flat surface. We use in to locate something in an


enclosed (or semi-enclosed) space (with volume). We use AT to locate something in
relation to a fixed point.

EXERCISE 1: Look at each of the pictures and make sentences with IN, ON or AT.
