1. INTRODUCTION
The Government of Indonesia is honored to welcome you to the First Energy Transitions
Working Group Meeting under its Presidency. The meeting will be held in Yogyakarta,
Indonesia on Thursday, March 24th from 09.00 am to 04.15 pm (UTC +7) and on March 25th
from 09.00 am to 01.45 pm (UTC +7).
In terms of unexpected circumstances during Covid-19 situation, delegates who are not going
to attend The First Energy Transitions Working Group Meeting in person, please follow the
instruction support below for virtual attendance.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION
Prior to the virtual meeting, each delegation will be asked to:
• Test the microphone and the webcam that will be used during the meeting;
• Check the internet connection by running a speed test;
• Ensure that the system meets the following requirements:
o 5–10 Mbps per video call (symmetric);
o Operating System and Browser:

Platform Recommended versions


Operating system Windows 11, Mac OS 12
Browser Chrome v. 98.0.4758.102; Firefox v. 98 or above

To join the meeting, you might choose between two options:


a. By computer:
Delegations should register as:
• G20 Members and Invited countries → “Country’s name–HoD name”
• International Organizations → “IO’s name - HoD name”

b. By video system or application:


Please join the meeting by renaming your conference system and registering as:
• For HoD → “Country’s name – HoD name”
• For IOs → “IO’s name – HoD name”

Please be advised that:


• Only the accounts with details matching the Delegation Members will be allowed to
join the meeting.
• The Webex line will be opened 2 hours in advance to perform a technical test.
• The G20 Indonesian Presidency is currently using the Webex version 42.2.4.12.

3. MEETING GUIDELINES
• Only the Head of Delegation will be able to speak
• Additional delegates may turn on the camera with microphone features turned-off.
To ensure a smooth flow of the debate, delegations are kindly requested to mute their
microphone until they are given the floor.
To take the floor, please send a message through the SLIDO platform and wait for the
chair to invite you to speak.
The Webex tool “Raise Hand” will not be used during the meeting.

4. NUMBER OF CONNECTION
Delegations will be limited to the following number of connections:

Invited
Attendee G20 Members International Organizations
Countries
Connections 1+2 1+2 1+2

5. VIRTUAL MEETING PREPARATION AND TEST SESSION (DRY RUN)


The G20 delegations will be allowed to plan test sessions prior to the meeting. The IT Point
of Contact or a member of G20 delegations will also be allowed to test Cisco Webex system
during the dry run.
The meeting number and passcode will be issued for each event (dry run, first day and second
day of the meeting) and will be shared to all registered delegates and IT point of contact.
The dry run and Slido test session will take place on:
o March 23, 2022, from 02.00-06.00 pm Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7)
o March 24, 2022, from 07.30-09.00 am Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7)
o March 25, 2022, from 07.30-09.00 am Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7)

The link for dry run and Slido test will be shared by email on March 18th, 2022, to IT point of
contact.
G20 Members, Invited Countries and International Organizations are kindly asked to place a
flag and/or name of the Country or Organization to facilitate their identification during the
technical setup and throughout the official meeting.

6. TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Should you face any difficulties while logging into the meeting or for any other technical
assistance you may require, please send an email to the Technical Support and Secretariat at
etwg.itassistance@g20-indonesia.id or secretariat-etwg@g20-indonesia.id to receive
immediate assistance.

7. WORKING LANGUAGE AND INTERPRETATION


The meeting will be conducted in English. No interpretation services will be available. The
meeting will be introduced by the Chair and followed by G20 Members, Invited Countries,
and International Organizations. Each intervention is limited to (please see the agenda in the
Administrative Circular).
