2. Show appreciation by listening attentively to popular music.
3. Perform Pop Music and RAP Music.

What is Pop Music?
Popular Music simply called as Pop Music, belongs to any of the number of contemporary musical styles
accessible to the general public and mostly distributed commercially and accessible to the widest audience. In the
broader sense, pop music means any sort of music intended for mass consumption and propagated over the radio
and similar media. Today , popular music is a global phenomenon that is largely based on the different styles like
ROCK, JAZZ AND RAP.

How did the different forms of popular music reflect life in 20 th Century Philippines? How did it affect your
emotional and mental well-being as a Grade 10 Student?
D. APPLICATION:
GROUP ACTIVITY and/or INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY
For Individual Activity: Choose any of the Popular Music ( Rock, Jazz, and
Rap and send a video of you singing that popular song. You can send it
through messenger.
For Group Activity: Simulate any artist or band as if having a live stage
performance. Take a video of your group performing and send it through
FB messenger.
