FF2-Review unit 10: It’s hot today!

1. Class description: Samdodo 1

-The number of students: 10
- Age level: 8-11
2. Time: 90 minutes
3. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- Remember the words about the jobs: sunny, raining, windy, snowing, hot, cold, make
a snowman, wear coats, go outside
- Know how to ask and asnwer the questions: What’s the weather like? It’s…
- Give the advides for the different weather
- Develop 4 skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing
4. Assumed knowledge:
Ss have already remembered the old words.
5. Anticipated problems:
- Children may not remember the words so the teacher asks them to repeat several times.
6. Teaching aids:
Flashcards, IT board, marker, white board and laptop.

Procedures

75’ Review words - T shows the Fcs ask Ss to look, say the - Look, listen and say
words -> Spell the words and show the the words
words by the body language (if any) - Play game
- Play games:
1. Guessing words: Call a child come to the
board show the word by the action or draw
picture ask the others look and guess a
correct word. Get 1 point for the child has a
correct answer
2. Back to back: 2 Ss stand back to back. T
give 2 Fcs for each and ask Ss make some
steps forward then say turn back. The Ss try
to say what’s your friend’s Fc. The fisrt
person say the words will win.
3. Telephone: You make 2 lines. I tell the word
to the last Ss' in the line and you have to show
the word by the action without saying to the
person stand in front of you. The first person in
the line have to write the word on the board.
Which team have a correct answer get 1 point.

Review - Call 2 Ss come to the board, 1 ask and 1 Ask and asnwer the
grammar asnwer the question “What’s the weather question
like? -> It’s sunny. Don’t forget your sun hat
and sunglasses
