PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
It is a single component ready to use fast drying acid/alkali, water & corrosion resistance paint for all
types of newly & old factory painted metal structures, factory shades, pipelines, storage tanks,
ladder/platforms, legged angles, effluent water tank, chimneys, vessels, factory pipelines, battery rooms, duct
collector, cooling tower, marines, bridges, export items as well as RCC (wall/concrete) surface etc.
Exceptionally, it is the best and ideal paint to repeated structural painted as well as RCC
(wall/concrete) repairs problem with its excellent resistance such as acid/alkali and chemicals fumes, water,
salt water, U/v, weather and highly corrosive area for long-term anti corrosive applications.
It resists heat up-to 1350 C with excellent resistance of rust for next 02*-03* years. It covers 07* to 08*
m2 per liter which is more than other epoxy, PU, enamel or acid/alkali resistant paints and cost wise economic
too.
It saves time, labour cost, paint cost & repeated structural painting cost with excellent result.

It protects the painted metal structures/shades and RCC (wall/ concrete) surface from corrosion for next
02*-03* years.
Resist corrosion from all types of Acid, Alkalis and Chemicals fumes.
Additional property of weathering resistance along with water, salt water, U/v and moisture resistance.
Additional property it resists temperature up-to 1350 C.
It completely saves repeated factory structural painting cost & RCC (wall) repairs & maintenance cost.
Air drying coating in just two minutes in room temperature.
The product is lead free and poses no danger of side-effects.

PREBOND-220 has passed the IS 159:1981 IS 158:198, IS 13467:1992 & IS 3140:1965 for Grade-1
(Acid/Alkali and Corrosion Resistance Ready Mixed Paint) as laid down by Bureau of Indian Standards.

APPLICATIONS:
It is highly recommended for all types of industrial acid/alkali fumes releasing areas, factory metal
structures/shades, pipelines, beams, battery rooms, chimney, storage tanks & RCC (wall/concrete) surface etc.

CHEMICALS TEST:
• Acid Resistance:
Dilute HCL (Hydrochloric Acid) 10% to 35% : Excellent
Dilute HNO3 (Nitric Acid) 10% to 35% : Excellent
Dilute H2SO4 (Sulfuric Acid) 10% to 35% : Excellent
Dilute H3PO4 (Phosphoric Acid) 10% to 35% : Excellent
• Alkali Resistance:
Dilute NaOH (Caustic Soda) 10% to 35% : Excellent
Dilute Na2CO3 (Sodium Carbonate) 10% to 35% : Excellent
SURFACE PREPARATION:
• If the surface is greasy, oil or light rusty always cleans the surface by thinner or emulation.
• It can be recoated any number of time to increase the dry film thickness (DFT).
• If the surface is already rusty first always use PREBOND-110 (Rust Converter-cum Epoxy Primer)
before application of PREBOND-220 (Anti Corrosive Paint) for long time Anti Corrosive Application.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
1) First, loose the dust & heavy rust scale on metal surface by using wire-brush & cotton.
2) Then, mix PREBOND-110 (Rust Converter-cum Epoxy Primer) solution Part-A (white) &
Part-B (Black) in same ratio i.e. 1:1 (50-50%).
5) After dry total rust converted surface (next day) apply PREBOND-220 (Anti Corrosive Paint)
02 coats in different 30 minutes time for long-time anti corrosive applications.
6) After application of PREBOND-110 & PREBOND-220 it’s protect the metal structures from
further rusting for next 02* to 03* years.
7) If the surface is fresh (rust free) or old painted then always apply PREBOND-CR (Anti
Corrosive Primer) before application of PREBOND-220 (Anti Corrosive Paint) for long-
time Anti Corrosive and Acid/Alkali fumes resistance application.
