HOUSEKEEPING GUIDELINES
General cleaning Guidelines
1. Open doors and windows.
2. Wear protective clothing (gloves, face mask, hairnet, shoe sleeves and
apron)
3. Clean all surfaces and give attention to bathroom, fridge, telephones and
door handles.
4. Clean rooms daily
5. Wash hands regularly with soap and water.
6. Remove gloves after use following MOHCC regulations.
7. All cleaning cloths should be washed and left to dry completely after use.

Bathroom
1. Wear a face mask, gloves, hairnet, shoe sleeves and apron.
2. Clean toilet surfaces and washing area two times per day.

Cleaning
1. Avoid splashing water when cleaning.

Laundry
1. Guests will sort their clothes into dark colours and whites.
2. Do not shake dirty laundry.
3. Use hot water setting and dry the items completely.

Waste
1. Waste should be put in a plastic bag and tied when full.
2. The plastic bag should be put in a secure bin.
