adjustments, repairs or service. Untrained operators and failure to follow

Cleaning and maintenance are required daily.


Never service or adjust attachment / implement with the
engine running unless instructed to do so in manual.

Always lower the attachment / implement to the ground


before lubricating or servicing.

Avoid contact with leaking hydraulic fluid or diesel fuel


under pressure. It can penetrate skin or eyes.
Stop, cool and clean engine of flammable materials before
checking fluids.
Keep body, loose objects and clothing away from moving
parts, electrical contacts, hot parts and exhaust.
Safety glasses are needed for eye protection from electrical
arcs, battery acid, compressed springs, fluids under
pressure and flying debris or when tools are used. Use eye
protection approved for type of welding.

TROUBLESHOOTING

after adjustments, repairs or service. Untrained operators and failure to follow

Use the following troubleshooting chart to locate and correct problems which most often occur with the implement.

PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTION


Snowblower does not operate. Loader main relief valve set to low. Adjust main relief valve to correct
setting.
Loader fluid reservoir is to low. Add hydraulic fluid to the fluid reservoir
on the loader.
Loader hydraulic pump not working. Check flow of hydraulic pump. Repair
or replace as needed.
Attachment control wire harness Repair or replace wire harness. D
damaged. e
Damaged quick couplers. Replace quick couplers.
Auxiliary hydraulics not engaged. Engage auxiliary hydraulics.
Chute does not rotate. Damaged hydraulic motor. Repair or replace.
Loose or broken chute rotation chain. Repair or replace.
Deflector does not adjust. Damaged cylinder. Repair or replace.
Snowblower cuts too low/too high. Skid shoes out of adjustment. Raise or lower skid shoes as needed.

inspecting the Bob-Tach). Replace any parts that are
damaged, bent or missing. Keep all fasteners tight. Look
for cracked welds. Contact your Bobcat dealer for repair

Check the end plate surface for scratches [Figure 20-40-
21]. Make sure the slot opening of the valve plate is aligned

Install the valve plate.
Install the valve on the valve plate. Align one of the
outside openings with the mark on the Geroler®. Turn the
valve clockwise a small amount until the teeth on the
valve drive engage.
