result is concluded that KFC is over all a better restaurant then Mc-
Donald’s
Conclusion
Recommendations
Mc-Donald’s
My first recommendation is that Mc-Donald’s have an
extremely strong brand image, but they need to work hard
on improving their consumer perception of being and
expensive brand. Mc-Donald’s and KFC have almost
identical pricing, but the difference in product offering
make its perception changed but Mc-Donald’s is still
perceived as the more expensive brand.
That’s why my second recommendation for Mc-Donald’s
is, to carry out a promotion campaign to ensure that their
target market is well aware of their current low prices. This
would help change consumer perception and turn Mc-
Donald’s into an affordable brand.
Another backlash of having such a strong traditional brand
image is that consumers have very high expectations of the
