RE: Summer Academy - May 31st - June 23rd (4 weeks)

Hello Parents,

The BVJSHS is again offering a free Summer Academy for our students. The Academy will be held
on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9AM - 12PM beginning on May 31st and ending on
June 23rd. Transportation and lunch will be provided for interested students. The students who
attended last year really enjoyed the program and the activities planned by our teachers. so I
encourage any interested students to attend.

This Academy is for all students, not just struggling students. We will have direct instruction by our
teachers and require no homework. Instruction will be individualized for your child and we will
work on building skills and concepts. Your child may attend the full three(3) hour day or a partial
day depending upon which subjects he/she needs to complete.

9:05AM - 9:50AM Period 1 - ELA 7, Science 7, ELA 8, , Science 8, History

9:55AM - 10:40AM Period 2 - Math 7, ELA 7, Math 8, ELA 8, History

10:45AM - 11:30AM Period 3- Science 7, Math 7, Science 8, Math 8, History

11:30AM - 12:00PM LUNCH

Your child may attend all courses in the Summer Academy. Topics that will be covered in the
Academy are shown on the back of this letter. Transportation will only be provided for those
students who stay the entire 3 hours/day. Parents will need to provide transportation for those
students attending a partial day.

Please call our Guidance Counselor, Ms. Barelich, at 749.9211 ext 227 to register your child for this
free Academy. Please let us know by Wednesday, May 18, 2022, or earlier so that we can set up
transportation.
