COVID-19 GENERAL INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

PROTOCOL FACTS / UPDATES:

*Cleared to Play:
All players who have had COVID-19 are required to undergo cardiac screening (ECG and ECHO (as necessary) and point-of-care spirometry (as
necessary)) and additional testing if required. The Tournament Physician or the player’s personal physician must clear the player to resume match play (if
completed by the player’s personal physician, then proof must be provided to the WTA of the required testing and physician’s clearance via email
(health@wtatennis.com)).

*Type of PCR and Antigen testing that maybe administered during a WTA Tournament to symptomatic credentialed attendees or if local health
authorities require testing:
Nasopharyngeal, Mid-turbinate, anterior nares, and saliva may be types of PCR collections. Nasopharyngeal, mid-turbinate, oropharyngeal, and saliva may
be types of Antigen collections. The test utilized will be reviewed and approved to ensure acceptable accuracy of sensitivity/specificity.

*Fully-Vaccinated Credentialed Attendee:

A Credentialed Attendee who has submitted to WTA a true, accurate, and complete record of receiving a primary series of a WHO Emergency Use Vaccine
and is currently beyond the recommended effective time since completion of the primary series (more than five (5) months for a two-dose vaccine or more
than two (2) months for a single-dose vaccine).
*Fully-Vaccinated-Plus Credentialed Attendee:
A Credentialed Attendee who has submitted to WTA a true, accurate, and complete record of: (i) receiving a primary series of a WHO
Emergency Use Vaccine and is currently within the recommended effective time since completion (between two (2) weeks and five (5) months
for a two-dose vaccine or two (2) weeks and two (2) months for a single-dose vaccine); (ii) receiving a WHO Emergency Use Vaccine booster
following completion of a primary series; or (iii) a confirmed COVID-19 infection within the previous 90 days.
*WHO Emergency Use Vaccine:
A vaccine approved for emergency use by the WHO, including a two-dose series of the Pfizer/BioNTech (Comirnaty, Fosun Pharm), Moderna, AstraZeneca
(Vaxzevria, Covishield), SinoPHARM (Hayat-Vax), Sinovac-Corona Vac (e.g., manufacturer Butantan), or COVAXIN (Bharat Biotech) vaccine and a single-dose
of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
- WTA encourages everyone to get a COVID-19 vaccine as it will assist in protecting you, other tournament participants, and the local communities in which
we compete.

POSITIVE TEST
The WTA will immediately withdraw the player from the Tournament and the player
