E-FOLIO MEMOIRS

OBJECTIVE: Congratulations, YOU’RE DONE WITH THE FREAKING SENIOR PROJECT! Summarize your Senior Project
experience by reflecting on your entire process and writing a memoir on your journey.

You will be graded on the following requirements:

■ What were the best and worst parts of the Senior Project/Senior Seminar?
The best part of my senior project was the journey. It was difficult and I thought the steps were going to be easier
but it was a lot more then I expected. The biggest challenge was trying to bring out my creativity when it came to
writing lyrics.
■ List three things you now know after completing your Senior Project.
1. How to figure out a BPM to beat

2. Understanding how auto-tune works

3. Getting a look inside how to just make a song. All the steps to it.

■ Which aspect of the Senior Project/Senior Seminar stretched you the most? How did you feel about and react to
this challenge?
The biggest stretch for me was coming up and creating lyrics. Trying to make it sound good and make sense at
the same time is difficult. Another challenge I had to overcome was not getting nervous while recording. It can be
scary having to sing the best you can in front of your friends.
■ How has the Senior Project/Senior Seminar changed you (skills, attitudes, work habits, capabilities, confidence,
poise, presentation, etc.)?
I feel extremely confident when it comes to music at the moment. I feel that I could make anything, any type of
genre that comes to my head with some help from my mentor.
■ Has this experience influenced your future plans?
This is honestly what I want to do. If I ever have a career I want it to be something I enjoy and music is top on the
list for what i enjoy.
■ What would you do differently if you had to do the whole Senior Project/Senior Seminar process again?
I would have started earlier and made more then just one song for my project and I'd also like to make a beat.
■ What advice do you have for next year’s seniors?
START BEFORE THE SECOND SEMESTER. Also keeping up with the due dates for your project saves you a lot of
stress.
■ What grade would you give yourself for your Senior Project and what justification do you have for that grade?

For my senior project I'd give it an A. For my slides and efolio I wouldn't give that as good of a grade due to the
lack of effort.
