Information and Practical Help is a strategy used in
psychological first aid. Where the individual providing support to another individual provides practical support based on the information that has been given to them by the individual who is in need of help.

1. You can talk to me about anything you feel comfortable about sharing. 2. It's okay to express your feelings on the situation 3. I think talking about the situation, if you are feeling up to it, is the best way to resolve any concerns you have.
Three Supportive Questions
1. What is your biggest concern? 2. if you dont feel comfortable talking about it with me, is there someone who you will feel comfortable talking with? 3. How are you feeling? Have you had anything to eat or drink?
Three Supportive Actions
1. Giving information to the best of their ability and regarding their situation 2. Remaining calm while also showing emotion 3. Give resources if needed.
