Q: WHAT ARE THE MAIN FACTORS THAT MAY ACCOUNT DIFFERENT PERCEPTIONS HELD BY AWAIS AND KALEEM?

ACCORDING TO EACH PERCEIVER:

 OPINION:
 Basically there are 4 perceivers in this case study. Kaleem and Awais, team members and myself..Kaleem and awais
both have different personality traits that’s why they mostly don’t cooperate with each other. And dislikes each other’s
way of thinking and working. Some personality characters which kaleem has is Machiavellianism and external locus of
control on him while Awais is quite aggressive but he has some characteristics of Extraversion.
 IN THE TARGET:
 Awais and Kaleem both are targets for each other. Kaleem is perceiving awais and awais is perceiving kaleem. And the
whole team is perceiving them.
 THE CURRENT SITUATION:
 This situation which is currently going on is complex and kind of tough as well for the team.

Q: WHAT ARE SOME “SHORTCUTS” EACH MAYBE TAKING IN JUDGING OTHERS ? ARE THESE JUDGMENTS ARE
CORRECT?

o SELECTIVE PERCEPTION:
People selectively interpret what they have been seeing based on their interests their
experiences, backgrounds and their behavior.

o LOGIC:
if we see the point of view of kaleem, he has been on successful teams most of the times. and he knows the best
ways to operate the team. but on the other hand if we talk about Awais, then he thinks that kaleem has aggressive
personality and cannot work properly in a team.

Q3: TO WHAT EXTENT MIGHT THE CURRENT SITUATION BY AFFECTING THE DIFFERENT PERCEPTIONS?
 The current situation is a state of conflict between both of them, and the deadline date is arriving as well for the team
project which both of them with a team have assigned.
 Talking about the relating Theory, because of no time in hand in project deadline the both members they didn’t calm,
still they are seeing things in different manners.

Q4: TO WHAT EXTENT MIGHT EACH PERSON APPARENT PERSONALITY MIGHT BE THE CAUSE OF CURRENT
CONFLICT?

 Personality:
The sum total of ways in which an individual reacts and interact with others.
 Logic:
According to me kaleem is Narcist. Because at some moment kaleem insulted awais infront of the whole team. To me,
kaleem is more of a self-player and alone only leader. Who cannot work under anyone’s command rather he is the one
who will give commands.
 NARCISM:
This personality traits consist of arrogance attitude, have a grandiose sense of self-importance, require excessive
admiration and have a sense of entitlement.
 If I talk about AWAIS he is more of an extrovert. Because he was continuously engaging with his team members and
giving and taking suggestions as well. Extroverts are tend to be assertive, positive and energetic.

 They should know about their blind spot. They should work in it. They both have to see where they went wrong.
 JOHRI WINDOW is another method which can solve these type of conflicts.
