TITLE: - Farmers’ Awareness, Expectations and Preference for Agri-input Products of

different Companies in Bhavnagar District of Gujarat

Objectives of the Study:

1) To study the socio-economic profile of farmers companies
2) To know the awareness level of farmers for agri input products of different companies
3) To know the expectations of farmers for agri input products
4) To study the preferences of farmers for agri input products of different companies
5) To perform competitor analysis for agri input products of different companies

Research Methodology:
Research Design: Descriptive cross-sectional Research Design
Sampling Design: Multistage sampling method of probability sampling design
Area of Research: 5 villages of 3 talukas of Bhavnagar district
Source of Data:
Primary as well as secondary data will be collected to meet the objectives of the study.

Primary Source: Data will be collected from the Respondents with the help of Structured Questionnaire.
Secondary Source: Secondary data will be collected from research papers, company website, project reports, journals,
magazines, organized stores and internet.

Data Collection Instrument: Structured Questionnaire

Data Collection Method: Personal Interview
Sampling unit: Farmers of retail outlets
Sample size: 150
Sampling Plan: At the first stage stage Bhavnagar district will be selected Purposively at the second
stage 3 talukas of Bhavnagar district will be selected randomly at the third stage 5 villages from each talukas
will be selected randomly at the forth stage 10 farmers from each villages will be selected randomly so in
total 150 farmers will be selected.
Data Analysis: Simple quantitative methods such as percentage and averages etc.,
will be used to analyze the data.
Tabular and graphical analysis will be used to achieve the objectives of the study.
