Beneficent the Merciful. “O Allah shower Your choicest blessings
and mercy upon Your beloved Rasul ‫ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ و ﺳﻠﻢ‬who is the
best of all creation forever and ever Aameen.” I thank Allah ‫ﺗﻌﺎ ﻟﻰ‬
for His favours and taufeeq for this work, without which was not
possible, as strength to do anything comes ultimately from Him.
Inshallah, I am hopeful for its acceptance and readers are requested to
supplicate (make dua’a) for the same.
I have written this article “Islam is Science” for the benefit of the
readers, especially for non-Muslims. It outlines the uniqueness of this
great faith compared to other religions of the book. We hope this
article will shine a light in the right direction for those who genuinely
want to find the TRUTH. If anyone wants to find the TRUTH, they
will find it, but need to be persistent. True knowledge and faith is like
hand-in-glove. We need to increase our Knowledge to increase our
faith. Knowledge is a great asset, but most benefit is gained when it
is practiced upon. Moreover, one of the first questions on the Day of
Qiyamah will be, “Did you practice upon the knowledge you had?”
May Allah ‫ ﺗﻌﺎ ﻟﻰ‬grant all of us taufeeq to practice upon the
knowledge we possess and have the correct faith, Aameen.
One of the prime intentions for this work is due to the saying of
Allah ‫ ﺗﻌﺎ ﻟﻰ‬who says; “Therefore, remind (men) in case the
reminder profits them.”[Al-A’la 87:9]. Moreover, He says, “Let there

enjoining Al-Ma’ruf (righteousness) and forbidding Al-Munkar (evil).
And it is they who are successful.” [Al-Imraan 3:104]
An effort has been made to write this article with some commentary
given at the end under References where necessary. If anyone feels it is
necessary to a have a translation in the Arabic text alongside the
English text, should write to the publisher. The same applies to
whether a shortened version (summary) of “Islam is Exceptional” will
be useful and required by you, the reader. Your comments on this
issue, or any other suggestions that you may have, will be most
welcome. This “Islam is Science” publication is a part of a larger
series with specific topics, e.g. Forty Ahadith about salâh, Forty

unparalleled in history! Anybody reading this tremendous piece of solid
Islam is special in many ways. It is like a multi-faceted precious jewel legislation will know that it is divine and could only be written by a
emitting light to its surroundings and once this light is absorbed by its Divine Entity. The great literary writers of the day, and even now,
adherents it transforms them beyond imagination. Firstly, it’s the only know that the Holy Qur’an is full of power, eloquence, wisdom,
rational thought and provides guidance for all of mankind; its literary
religion in the world that is monotheistic, i.e. the belief in ONE God
merit is out of this world! Unlike previous holy books, it is the same
(Allah the most high) ‫ ﷻ‬who created the heavens and the earth, the creatures

The Holy book, the Holy Qur’an, is a living miracle of tremendous creator of the universe (seventy-eight billion light years across)2 and

upon whomsoever you can besides Allah ‫ﷻ‬, if you are truthful!''). Indeed, We have sent down the Qur’an, and surely We will guard it (from corruption). (Qur’an, 15:9)
2. If all the holy books in the world were to be submerged in the ocean, the only book that could be reproduced or replicated would be the Holy Qur’an! This would be done
by collecting several “Hafiz” of Qur’an who would recite what is in their heart and a scribe would write it out.
3. The universe, spectacular in its magnificence, is an assembly of a hundred billion galaxies. Each of these galaxies has billions of stars. The enormity of the universe can
hardly be grasped by our minuscule minds and that our fragile planet Earth, or even that of the Milky Way, is trivial compared to the size of the remainder of the cosmos.
Galaxies, of various shapes and sizes are rotating accumulation of stars. The Milky Way Galaxy containing planet Earth is so big that light, which travels at186,000 miles
(300,000 km) per second, takes 100,000 years to cross from one end to the other. In measuring the great distances between stars and galaxies, light-years (ly) are used. A
light-year is the distance that light travels in a year—5.9 trillion miles (10 trillion km). A light-year is a unit of distance, not time, e.g. the nearest star is about 4.25 light-years
from Earth.

The Holy Qur’an is a miracle of miracles, in the sense that it contains light, means, shining and illuminated by the light of something else i.e.
many scientific facts that were discovered only centuries later, such the sun); also, the planets -they all float, each in an orbit; moreover,
as: in the field of embryology4 (He creates you in the wombs of your from the verse (51:47) we can assume ever expansion of space – only
mother: creation after creation in three veils of darkness, 39:6, verified by scientists in the last decade!; earthly systems7 – vegetation8
meaning stage after stage); oceanography 5 (The Holy Qur’an (the Holy Qur’an confirms that every kind and species of plant, fruit and
mentioned that there is a barrier between two seas, one sweet and vegetation comes in pairs); the water cycle9 (We send down blessed
palatable, and the other salty and bitter.); planetary systems – water (rain) from the sky to give life therewith to a dead land, watered
cosmology6 (the sun is described as a great lamp, and a moon giving with the same water ) etc.
4. In the Holy Qur’an, God Almighty ‫ ﷻ‬speaks about the stages of man’s embryonic development: We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of
settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance), (Qur’an,23:12-14).
Furthermore, Professor Simpson (President of the American Fertility Society) studied the following two sayings of the Prophet Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬:{ In every one of you, all components of your
creation are collected together in your mother’s womb by forty days... }Narrated in Saheeh Muslim, #2643, and Saheeh Al-Bukhari, #3208 { If forty-two nights have passed over the embryo,
God (Allah the most high) ‫ ﷻ‬sends an angel to it, who shapes it and creates its hearing, vision, skin, flesh, and bones.... }.
5. Also, the Holy Qur’an mentioned that there is a barrier between two seas that meet and that they do not transgress. God (Allah the most high)‫ ﷻ‬has said: He has set free the two seas
meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress (Qur’an, 55:19-20). But when the Qur’an speaks about the divider between fresh and salt water, it mentions the
existence of “a forbidding partition” with the barrier. Moreover, He is the one who has set free the two kinds of water, one sweet and palatable, and the other salty and bitter. And He has
made between them a barrier and a forbidding partition (Qur’an, 25:53).
6. In addition, Allah the most high ‫ ﷻ‬is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then, He ‫ ﷻ‬rose above (Istawa) the `Arsh ﴾Throne﴿. He has subjected the sun and
the moon, each running (its course) for a term appointed. He manages and regulates all affairs; He explains the Ayat in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your
Lord.) ﴾36:38﴿ (Blessed be He (the most high) ‫ ﷻ‬Who has placed in the heaven a great lamp, and a moon giving light.) (And He ‫ ﷻ‬it is Who has put the night and the day in succession
(Khilfatan), for such who desires to remember or show his gratitude.) . (and a moon giving light.) means, shining and illuminated by the light of something else, different from the light of the
sun.(It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light and measured out for it stages that you might know the number of years and the reckoning. Allah did not create this
but in truth. (And the moon, We have measured for it mansions (to traverse).It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.)
(36:39-40) (51:47) With Hands We constructed the heaven. Verily, We are able to expand the vastness of space thereof.
(48. And We have made the earth a Firash; how excellent spreader (thereof) are We!) (49. And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember.) 50. So, flee to Allah ‫ﷻ‬. (51.
And set not up any other god along with Allah ‫ﷻ‬. (51:47) Allah ‫ ﷻ‬mentions His perfect ability and infinite authority, since it is He Who has raised the heavens without pillars by His
permission and order. He, by His order and power, has elevated the heavens high above the earth, distant and far away from reach. The distance between the first heaven and the earth is five
hundred years from every direction, and its thickness is also five hundred years. The second heaven surrounds the first heaven from every direction, encompassing everything that the latter
carries, with a thickness also of five hundred years and a distance between them of five hundred years. The same is also true about the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth and the seventh
heavens. (Prostrate yourselves not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate yourselves to Allah ‫ ﷻ‬Who created them, if you (really) worship Him.) ﴾41:37﴿
7. ( Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no Furuj in it - i.e., clefts, rifts, or cracks. And the earth! We have spread it out, and set
thereon Rawasi standing firm (which are the mountains to save the earth from shaking along with its inhabitants),
8. and We planted in it every lovely (Bahij) pair - every kind and species of plant, fruit and vegetation).
9. And We have sent down from the clouds (Mu`sirat) water (Thajjaj) - "Thajjaj means poured out.'' They are the clouds that are filled with rain, but they do not bring rain. Moreover, And in the
earth are neighboring tracts, and gardens of vines, and green crops, and date palms, growing into two or three from a single stem root, or otherwise, watered with the same water; yet some of
them We make more excellent than others to eat. Verily, in these things there are Ayat for the people who understand. (13:4) And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We
produce therewith Jannat and grain that are reaped.) (10. And date palms Basiqat, with arranged clusters - meaning, tall and high. (11. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will
be the Resurrection.) (And whatsoever He has created of varying colors on the earth for you.) When Allah (the most high) ‫ ﷻ‬points out the features of the skies, He also points out the wondrous
things that He has created on earth, the variety of its animals, minerals, plants and inanimate features, all having different colors and shapes, benefits and qualities. (16:12)

Also, the Holy Qur’an contains inbuilt watertight phenomenon, such
as, palindromes (words/sentences that can be read forward and
backward the same way – Surah Mudatthir 74:3 ~[wa Rabbaka Fa
Kabbir] ‫ر ب ك ف ك ب ر‬, And your Lord (Allah) magnify! Another
palindrome can be found in SurahYasin 36:40 ~ ٍ‫“ ~ و كُ ﱞل فِ ي َف َل ك‬They
all float, each in an orbit.”etc.); or several verses from the Holy Qur’an
which contains the whole Arabic alphabet – 3:154 ; 48:29! The Holy
Qur’an contains the divination of future events10 and other marvels
include complex math and intonation of various verses. The latter
only gives credence to the fact that the Holy Qur’an is a divine book
and no way could be written by a human, let alone someone who is
“Ummi” or unlettered- which means: illiterate, unlettered one, belongs
to the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) ‫ ﷺ‬who was literally
witness to me.”- The Gospel. This means (for the salvation of humanity)

Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) ‫ ﷺ‬and masjid in Damascus). It
is quite ironic that Prophet Jesus’ ‘ ‫( ’ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﺴﻼم‬peace be upon him) name has been
Prophet Jesus ‘‫( ’ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﺴﻼم‬peace be upon him) has acknowledged this (referenced in
at least one Gospel11). Moreover, the Muslims believe in the second
coming of Christ ‘‫( ’ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﺴﻼم‬peace be upon him) and when he comes he will lead the
believers in prayer ~ better known as “salah” (in the Umayyad
mentioned more times (twenty-fivetimes in fact) in the Holy Qur’an
more than the name of the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) ‫ﷺ‬
(mentioned five times)! Other Prophets ‘‫( ’ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﺴﻼم‬peace be upon them) came with
the same message and their own Holy Scriptures, e.g. Moses ‘‫( ’ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﺴﻼم‬peace
be upon him) came with the Holy Torah and David ‘‫( ’ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﺴﻼم‬peace be upon him) with

unschooled. There were approximately 124,000 Prophets ‘‫( ’ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﺴﻼم‬peace be the Holy book of Psalms (Zabur). Also, Ibrahim ‘‫( ’ﻋﻠﯿﮫ اﻟﺴﻼم‬peace be upon him) came

11. The Gospel of Barnabas, so called. The coming of the final Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) ‫ ﷺ‬is foretold in this Gospel. In fact we are told about the last
verse of the Holy Bible. It is “la ilaha illallah al malikul haqqul mubin;” It means, There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah the Almighty ‫ﷻ‬, the Sovereign, Truth,
Manifest. This statement can be seen in the Masjid Nabawi in Al-Madinah. So, there are many common denominators between Islam and Christianity. The latter being the
closest to Islam than all the other religions.
12. The Prophet Mohammed ‫ ﷺ‬has said many things- referred to as prophesies- such as, near the end of time: a man will marry a man and a women will marry a women; also,
he said, people will compete in building tall buildings (Burj Kalifah); music will be heard in the masjid; women will outnumber men by 50:1, the worst of the people will
become the leaders, intoxicants, music and dance will be widespread, fornication will be like that of animals, etc…

15. In Islamic lore; an intelligent spirit of lower rank than the angels, able to appear in human and animal forms and influencing humankind for either good or evil. In other words this normally
invisible entity lives in a different dimension alongside humankind! The Jinn is an entity that should not be meddled with!
16. If you travel for 2000 years you will still be in your own territory. God has said in the Qur’an: And give good news (O Muhammad (peace be upon him) ‫ ﷺ‬to those who believe and do good
deeds, that they will have gardens (Paradise) in which rivers flow.... (Qur’an, 2:25) God ‫ ﷻ‬has also said: Race one with another for forgiveness from your Lord and for Paradise, whose width
is as the width of the heavens and the earth, which has been prepared for those who believe in God ‫ ﷻ‬and His messengers ‫ﷸﷸ‬.(Qur’an, 57:21) And those who believe and do good deeds, they
are dwellers of Paradise, they dwell therein forever. (Qur’an, 2:82)

the garden, there are huge tents (sixty meters tall) made from one
pearl; there are huge trees with gold/silver trunks (the bark being
transparent); the stones on pathways are made of pearls and rubies;
and so on….The specifications of all these luxuries in Paradise, and
much more, is much higher of course compared to this world. And let
us not forget the dark eyed damsels. The dwellers will be in total bliss
and pleasure beyond their wildest dreams. This ecstasy, harmony and
delight will be eternal, but the biggest prize valued more than Paradise

itself is the meeting and vision of Allah the Almighty Himself ‫ﷻ‬. This
will be the ultimate triumph! May Allah (the most high) ‫ ﷻ‬grant us His
pleasure, nearness and vision. May He ‫ ﷻ‬grant us the sweetness of faith
(iman) and may He ‫ ﷻ‬guide us to the truth, so good luck in this world
and the next!
