TASK – PROBLEM SOLVING VIDEO EXPLANATION

*TEACHING MATH, PRECALCULUS, TRIGO, GEOMETRY, LINEAR ALGEBRA

1. Select a word problem in the textbook to work with. The problem should be challenging and of
high quality.
2. Create a video of yourself while solving the problem. Your face must be visible in the video as
well as problem to solve and the steps you’ve done in solving. The video must be 2.5 to 4
minutes. Any written texts should be readable in the video. (See example of video explanation
from the YouTube channel of Dr. Trefor Bazett)
3. Explanation shall not be very detailed as to the step-by-step procedure; rather, it should focus
on the macro steps in problem-solving. (Detail must be balanced)
4. Submit in mp4 format with at least 480p resolution.
