circuit.

Given:

R = 250Ω

V = 110V

Using Ohm’s Law

I = V/R = 110 / 250 = 0.44 A

2. An electric toaster is connected to a power source of 220 V. The current through it is

0.5A. What is its resistance?

Given:

V = 220V

I = 5A

Using Ohm’s Law

R = V/I = 220 / 0.5 = 440Ω
