COTTONWOOD FARM POOL COMPLEX

RULES & GUIDELINES:


Pool complex means any activity inside the fence of the pool,
including the pool deck, & outside entrance and sidewalks.

Use of the baby pools is limited to infants and toddlers


and/or children under 5 yrs. Parents must be in
attendance of all children at all times.

Cleaning/Disinfecting supplies will be available for individual use


on chairs, tables, bathrooms, etc. We ask that you use them
responsibly. Repeated instances of missing supplies will result in
readdressing pool hours and/or keeping the pool open.

NO LIFEGUARD OR ATTENDANT ON DUTY! SWIM AT YOUR OWN


RISK! SWIMMING ALONE IS PROHIBITED!

The HOA Board of Directors shall have full authority to enforce


pool complex rules and expel any individual(s)from the swimming
pool complex for violation of these rules. Failure to follow the rules and
guidelines, repeated violations may result in expulsion from complex and
revoking of pool pass and/or privileges for the remainder of the season.
Additionally, violations of Oklahoma City ordinances or Cottonwood
Farm by-laws or covenants may result of loss of pool pass and
privileges. PLEASE NOTE: The rules and guidelines may be
amended at any time as necessary. Changes will be in writing and
posted:

2. On the Neighborhood Facebook page.
3. On the Cottonwood Farm Website

A maximum of 6 people PER POOL PASS are allowed in the complex.
Groups over 6 people will need to rent the pool. No Exceptions. Violations
may result in revocation of pool pass and/or loss of pool privileges. Repeat
offenders will have pool privileges revoked for the remainder of the season.
Cottonwood Farm residents MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES
WITH GUESTS and are responsible for their guests.
Failure to follow this rule will result in revocation of poll pass and/or
privileges.
• Homeowner’s dues must be paid and current to use the pool
complex.
• Maximum Occupancy inside the pool complex is 140 people.
• Homeowner’s dues must be paid and current to use the
pool complex.
• Past due HOA dues must be submitted to: Cottonwood Farm
HOA,1913 W. 33rd St. Suite120, Edmond, OK 73013.
• HOA Board members are unable to accept past due fees so
please do not ask. Your pass cannot be issued/reinstated until
your payment has been received and confirmed as clearing your
bank.
• Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an
adult who will be responsible for the supervision of that child at
the pool at all times.
• The baby pool is for children 5 years and younger. Parent or
guardian must be present at all times while the baby pool is in
use.
• Suitable attire is required (no cutoffs or frayed clothing).
• A cleansing bath, using warm water and soap must be taken
before entering the water. Excess body lotions should be
removed prior to entering the water.
• No animals allowed in the swimming pool complex.
• NO running, excessive horseplay is prohibited in and around
pool complex. No diving into the water.
• No profanity, screaming or spitting in or around the water.

• No swimming, playing, or snorkeling near the main drain.
• Food and drinks are allowed in the pool complex, but NO food or
drinks in the swimming pool.
• Glass of any type will not be permitted in the swimming pool
complex at any time. No Exceptions. Violation will result in
revocation of pool pass and privileges.
• All persons who are under the influence of an intoxicating
liquor or drug are excluded from the shower rooms and pool
area.
• Grill is for use of residents only. Please be respectful and leave it in
clean condition for the next guest. Children not allowed to use grill
or be in or around the area when grill in use.
• Dispose of trash in garbage receptacles in pool area and in
bathrooms. Do not leave toilet paper and/or paper towels on the floor!
• No diapers in either pool (swim diapers will be allowed). Please
check your child’s swim diaper often.
• No bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades/skates, scooters or
other comparable devices allowed inside the pool
complex, nor may they be left on the sidewalk or in the
entrance area to the pool complex. A bicycle rack is available
on the East side of the building.
• Persons with open wounds, bandages, or any symptom of a
communicable disease shall not enter the water. Persons who
have had diarrhea in the past 2 weeks are prohibited in the water.
• Water toys shall be permitted. Pool toys must be removed from the
pool when the swimmer leaves the pool.
• Safety equipment is not to be used for play or be tampered with.
• Water hose is not a toy and is not to be used for play or removed
from the hose rack.
• Appropriate furniture may be used in the swimming pool complex. If
you move it, replace it in its original location when you leave.

• Pool phone/emergency box is for emergency use only.
If an
emergency should arise use phone/emergency
box or call 9-1-1 immediately.
• The HOA is not responsible for accidents or injury.
• Please remember your personal property when leaving the
pool complex and help keep our swimming pool area safe and
clean! HOA Not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• No inappropriate displays of sexual behavior.
• No smoking inside of pool complex.
• Any person determined to be overly intoxicated and/or causing a
disturbance will be asked to leave the pool complex immediately.
Failure to do so will result in local police being called and permanent
revocation of pool pass and privileges.
• REQUIRED: The pool complex will be closed for 24 hours
for chemical shock treatment as required by the State of Oklahoma
State Department of Health, due to any pool water
contamination by body fluids such as but not limited to: BLOOD,
FECES, URINE or VOMIT.
• Do not enter water if main drain cover is missing or not
securely attached.
• Pool hours will be posted and are subject to change.
• Parents, please accompany small children to the restroom to
avoid excess paper in the toilet, feces/urine and on/or around toilet.
• The pool complex opens the Saturday before Memorial Day and the
last day open is Labor Day. Extensions of this may be made based
upon the weather.
Please note: If you are experiencing any COVID related symptoms (cough, fever,
shortness of breath) or have had contact with a person with COVID, you and
exposed individuals should not enter the pool complex.
As always, please use the pool complex at your own risk. While every
effort is made to maintain a safe pool and complex, the Cottonwood Farm
Owners Association (HOA Board and Members) is not liable for injury or
illness from its use.
Cleaning and disinfecting products will be available for individual use on tables,

chairs, bathrooms, etc. We ask that you use them responsibly. If the products
come up missing on a regular basis, we will need to readdress the hours of use of
the pool and/or keeping the pool open.
