Find as many different polygon shapes as you can in the pattern.
C. Developmental Activity
The students will form into four groups.
Each group will have one representative to join the game.
They will do the activity called “Who am I?” where the participants will have a race
in identifying the shapes that the teacher will show to them.
Let the students read the Scoring Rubric for the said activity so that they will be
guided throughout the activity.

The following questions will be asked:
1. Did you enjoy the activity?
2. What have you observed in our activity?
3. Based on our activity, what do you think is our topic for today?
E. Abstraction
What did you understand about polygon?
Determine whether the polygon is convex or concave. Why?
Name the polygon according to the number of its side.
What difficulty did you encounter as you go through the lesson? What will you do to
better understand the lesson on your own?
F. Application
What do you think is the importance or relevance of our topic in our day-to-day
living?
Present a real-life application of the topic.
G. Evaluation
Activity 3- Cut or print 5 pictures that will represent polygons and paste it in a short bond
paper. Label your pictures with their classification. (The pictures may be seen in the house,
community, or in the town proper.
H. Assignment
Directions: Choose the letter of the correct answer and write it on a separate
sheet of paper.
