Type of books
According to books' purpose in our lives, books are categorized into two types:
non-fiction and fiction. Firstly, non-fiction books are based on facts about an event
or person's life in a family. Reading these books, people can feel that they know
these people or they were during the events by reading the facts. People can also
get to know how someone used to think by reading the thought of people in the
book during the events in that person's life. Moreover, people can have a chance to
know actual life in different timelines. For example, how people lived in 1945 or
how Vietnamese people successfully fought against the Americans. Secondly,
fiction books focus on imaginary facts. These genres are very appropriate for
people aged from 16 to 25. They can completely know when they start reading or
how long to finish the book. In this category, people are taken to many different
types of the world that do not exist but still give the reader the impression that
everything is actual and familiar. For example, people can be taken to the fire
dragon's life in the sky or the life of a robotic dinosaur in 2090. To sum up, each
type of book has its features to select which one is suitable.
2. Type of language certificates
Nowadays, we can see the importance of getting one more language besides their
native language. According to people's purpose in life, language certificates are
categorized into two types: TOEIC and IELTS. Firstly, TOEIC is suitable for
people who want to exchange their grades in university or get a better job
opportunity. In this category, TOEIC focuses on two necessary skills: reading and
listening. There are 100 questions about incomplete sentences, text completion,
and short paragraph for reading. All of this part must be completed in 75 minutes.
The number of questions in reading stays the same as the listening skill but
concentrates more on candidates' comprehension in English about three parts:
describe a picture, questions-response, conversations and short talks. The time for
listening skills is 45 minutes. Secondly, IELTS is more complicated than TOEIC.
IELTS is an academic exam appropriate for people who want to stay abroad or
work in an international company. IELTS has two more skills than TOEIC that are:
Writing and Speaking. There are two tasks for writing: describing some visual
information and giving an opinion about the issues that need to be discussed. The
time required for this skill is 60 minutes. There are three parts to answer for
speaking skills, and this happens in 11 to 14 minutes, depending on the occasion.
In conclusion, each type has its features; select what is appropriate for your future.
