Apple was founded by Steve
Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne in 1976 to
develop and sell Wozniak's Apple I personal computer. It
was incorporated by Jobs and Wozniak as Apple
Computer, Inc. in 1977 and sales of its computers,
including the Apple II, grew quickly. It went public in
1980 to instant financial success.

created Apple Computer Co. on April 1, 1976, to market
Wozniak's apple 1 desktop computer and Jobs and
Wozniak incorporated the company on January 3,

1993 by the Sobrato Development Company. Apple
announces new $1 billion North Carolina campus and $80
billion additional US spending. Apple Park is Apple's new,
175-acre corporate campus. Its 2.8 million-square-foot
main building, or "spaceship," is considered to be one of
the most energy-efficient buildings on earth. The campus
and nearby visitor center opened in 2017, and will house
over 12,000 employees. The headquarters was
groundbreaking in November 2013 opening of apple
headquarters April 2017. And the company finished
construction and officially moved its employees into the
massive "spaceship" campus, called The Ring, located at
One Apple Park Way.
