This document analyzes and summarizes two journal articles on ethics and health law. The first article discusses ethnic inequalities in reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health interventions in Ecuador based on a cross-sectional analysis of national survey data from 2004 and 2012. The study found that to improve health coverage in countries like Ecuador where belonging to a certain marginalized ethnic group affects health, it is necessary not only to prioritize that group but also address social determinants by improving maternal education, reducing poverty, and providing local development opportunities with a comprehensive approach.
