“What I’m waiting for…”

The most awaited week came, my final demonstration finally happened this week. My
panelist was only Dr. Elve Nasvik and my critic teacher Mrs. Hannah Marie Agir. It somehow
eases my nervousness because only two out of four panelists came. But also, I was also a bit
expecting Mr. Pablito dela Rama to observe and give feedbacks on my final demonstration but I
think they were busy and I understand. My final demonstration went well though I have
difficulties again with my activities however I managed to end it properly. After my final
demonstration, I felt like I’m one step closer to graduation. But of course, that’s only one down
on the list, I still have a lot on my plate before I graduate. I need to finish all my reflections,
make our Classroom-based Action Research and also make my e-portfolio. Though I have a lot
more things to do, I am still happy I got to finish my student internship final demonstration
because I don’t need to worry about my panelist anymore. As soon as I finished my final
demonstration, I made one reflection this week. I also checked, if my students answered their
second test which was scheduled on Friday. My critic teacher also asked me to tell the students
to make sure that the students submit their graded test and performance tasks last quarter
before or on the deadline. This week also, me and my groupmates also met to plan for our
CBAR questionnaires. We have divided the works and I get to make the parent’s consent for us
to conduct the research and for the students to answer our questions.

The domain that I can associate this week is Domain 6, Community Linkages and
Professional Engagement, strand 6.2 Engagement of Parents and the Wider School Community
in the Educative Process. The parent’s involvement in our research is very important because
without their consent we cannot use the students’ responses because they are still minor and
this is a confidential matter. Then the educational theory that I can link is the Cognitive Theory.
With the discussion of the class about this week’s lesson, the learners were able to try to solve
how to change improper to mixed number and vice versa. They experience trial and error on
how to solve the answer and with that experience they have learned the right equation and
steps to get the answer.
