1. What event or experience helped you to understand that these values were important to
you? Consider reflecting on the events or experiences that led you to select your core
values.
This value determines how productive, satisfied, and fulfilled a person is with their
behavior, particularly the activities they engage in. It produces satisfaction, a sense of
happiness, and fulfillment through intrinsic, extrinsic, and lifestyle factors. A misalignment
can result in anything from minor issues to major disruptions.
I wish I could say that I knew what I valued in life and what I wanted to do with my career
from a young age, but I just didn't see it. I must have been hoping for a massive disaster to
clear things up. Understanding and aligning your values with your career is critical because
it gives you a sense of purpose and serves as a guidepost for what works for you best.

2. How do your core values complement your current major or career you are pursuing?
Will the work that is part of your major (or the work that is part of your profession in the
future) allow you to express the most important things to you?
It is a subset of fundamental beliefs and ideas that form the foundation of who you
are. It encompasses qualities such as honesty, service, self-respect, respect for others,
peace, and success. Because failing to identify your work values will reduce your chances of
being satisfied with your career, it is critical that you do so early in the career planning
process. This will result in better teamwork and work relationships, increased productivity
and commitment, and greater success with this combination.

3. Expound on how your current major and career path matches your core values.
Once you determine what value is, you will know what motivates you to do your
best work, and you can use this knowledge to guide your job choices. Others believe that
how well a career satisfies our values should be the most important factor to consider
when weighing options; work that aligns with our values will be more meaningful, and we
will be more likely to invest our energies in mastering the roles and achieving success.
Using these terms, which are Must have, Nice to have, OK not to have, and Must not have,
you can gain a clear understanding of what is most important to you. Having the values as
part of your job may make you feel challenged, inspired, and fulfilled.
4. What might be missing from your major or job you are considering? In other words, will
this major or your future profession NOT allow you to express one of your core values?
I believe it is Interpersonal because I am a shy person at first, but when someone
approaches me, I am fine and know how to get along, and then I can show what kind of
person I am. Furthermore, it is important in your personal and professional life for
communicating and working with groups and individuals because it builds good
relationships and can work well with others and they typically project a positive attitude,
look for solutions to problems, and help others succeed.
