 ABSTRACT

An organisational study deals with the study of department structure and functions of an
organisation. This also helps to understand how key business processes are carried out in
“An Organisational Study at Kanyakumari District Co-operative Milk Producers Union
Limited, Nagercoil.” which procures the milk from the small milk vendors with the main
motive of promoting agro farming. This is a company incorporated by the government on
the year 25th January 1949 with the main objective of promoting agro farming to the public
and helping small vendors with the dairy business. The milk is procured from almost 53
societies totally from the Kanyakumari district. The SWOT analysis was used to identify the
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the organisation. Finally conclude that
the organisation study was beneficial in helping in the gaining knowledge, confidence and
awareness about the working of the organisation.
