I. OBJECTIVES

Content Standard: The learner demonstrates of how Anglo-American literature and other text
types serves as means of enhancing the self; also how to use processing, assessing, summarizing
information, word derivation and formation strategies, appropriate word order, punctuation
marks and interjections to enable him/her to participate actively in a speech choir.

Performance Standard:The learner actively participates in a speech choir through using


effective verbal and non-verbal strategies based on the following criteria: Focus; Voice;
Delivery; Facial Expressions, Body Movements/Gestures and Audience Contact (Literature)

board that has 10 questions. Now you will give
a description of the pictures I have shown to
you. The 10 questions must be answered in 1
minute and 30 seconds only.

This is a collaborative activity so your scores


are based on the scores of the groups’ efforts.

verb topic in the previous week. Based on the
activity that we have earlier, what do you think

Our topic for today is all about adjectives in a
context of a short story.
But before that, let us first take a look at our
learning objectives for today’s lesson.

tree. You will look for the definition of the
word, and paste it beside the word found in the
“Knowledge Tree”. I will use each word in a
sentence and again, all you have to do is match
the word to its corresponding definition.

F. Generalization

Again, the importance of the adjectives


agreement is to give clarity and understanding
in communicating and it adds up credibility of
the writer. Any misuse could lead to confusion
and a barrier in unlocking the message so we
must identify it. to sum it up an adjective
describes a noun.
